Give Back University Virtual Courses
GBU Life is proud to partner with Outschool for the virtual component of Give Back University. As a Give Back University student, you will have free and unlimited access to an innovative education platform that offers a variety of engaging, small-group classes online. Unlike traditional classes, Outschool classes give kids the unique opportunity to explore their interests in-depth via interactive, live video by experienced, independent educators.
As a Give Back University student, we ask that you complete 4 virtual courses a year but you can complete as many as you would like. The more classes you complete, the more points you earn.
How to Enroll:
- Click the "Browse Classes!" button below
- Click the purple “Join” button in the upper right-hand corner
- Set up an Outschool account using your email.Please note that if you are under the age of 13, a parent will need to enter a credit card to verify their identity as required by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Their card will not be charged. For more information about COPPA and general tips about protecting Children’s online privacy, please visit OnGuard Online.
- Browse through available courses and pick the course, date and time, you would like to complete.
- Instead of enrolling for the course, complete the Course Selection Form and GBU Life will sign you up and purchase that course for you.
- You will then receive a gift enrollment link via email from Outschool.
- Once you claim your gift enrollment, your class will appear on your schedule when logging into the Outschool Platform.
